Student Midwives | Supported Birth of Arizona

The local Arizona Student Midwives have made many great strides recently in uniting in their education paths. Currently there is a very active group of student midwives that plan educational

trainings, NRP classes with certification, monthly discussions and meetings and support for one

another. The group is open to current students, new students, advanced students, and those just

interested in what the study of midwifery has to offer.

GET ORGANIZED! There is a ton of paperwork when you are a student, and keeping it in one place and organized is what you need. Supported Birth of Arizona has compiled a Midwifery Student Binder (including NARM packet if requested).

A carefully compiled Three Ring Binder including the Arizona Midwife Student and License Packet, reprinted and sorted, forms to use in your apprenticeship including Student Attendance Logs, Didactic Training, Birth Evaluations, Preceptor Evaluations and more. You can also purchase a copy of the N.A.R.M. packet. This is a high quality binder that folds back for easy access, four binder pouches for loose paper, pencil/pen/supply pouch, business card holder, printed dividers and pocket folder and plenty of room to add more pages.

The majority of the papers in this binder are free of charge for you to order from the state of Arizona and from the N.A.R.M. website. This binder was not created to make a profit, rather it was created to help the new student get organized. We are only charging for the cost of the supplies, printing and a small fee for the time it took to put it all together. If you choose to order the N.A.R.M. application as well, we are only charging what N.A.R.M. charges to mail it to you!
